I am the husband of one and the father of nine. I was created to sing, to worship, to encourage, and to be steady. I am the Owner & Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a multi-disciplinary Arts Center in Eastern Tennessee, and the President of Trinity Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on funding arts education and performance. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun.

In the blink of an eye.
There's a new book out by Malcolm Gladwel titled, Blink.
There's a new book out by Malcolm Gladwel titled, Blink.
"It's a book about rapid cognition, about the kind of thinking that happens in a blink of an eye. When you meet someone for the first time, or walk into a house you are thinking of buying, or read the first few sentences of a book, your mind takes about two seconds to jump to a series of conclusions. Well, "Blink" is a book about those two seconds, because I think those instant conclusions that we reach are really powerful and really important and, occasionally, really good."
P.S. Malcolm is also the author of The Tipping Point, another oft quoted book that is probably worth a read.

John 15:9
As the Father loves me - so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
As the Father loves me - so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
The Father started something. The Son followed suite. Now we are asked to simply remain in that love. What does that mean exactly?
Regardless... I like the concept. As my Father loves me SO HAVE I loved you NOW reamin here with US. It has a very intimate "sit by the fire" feeling to it. Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so. = )
By the way... Have you seen this one?
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He annointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He annointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
So... It seems hat He has done everything that needs to be done. We just need to stand firm. What are the implications? How about...
Philippians 2:12-13
Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Again... It is God who works...
Just throwing a couple things out there for consideration. I've got some more to share but -- I'll save it for another day soon.
Any thoughts?
