Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

You have to love the simple (but beautifully deep) truth of passages like this one.
My grandfather, Carl Gustav Peterson, quoted this verse at my sister's wedding dinner about 10 years ago. (Note: This event and his response to it are what initially inspired the vision I referred to a couple weeks ago.) I find it especially interesting that my Grandpa, taking (perhaps) his last opportunity to communicate one succinct truth to his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids -- would choose that verse to sum it all up.
That is wisdom. That is clarity of focus. That has an impact. It had an impact on me, and I assume it did on others. I hope, in turn, it has an effect on my kids, and their kids, and their kids, and you.
It's something I need be reminded of. Don't over-complicate things. Don't think too much. Don't worry and -- use God's words, rather than my own, to communicate Truth clearly and effectively.
Trust God.
