I am the husband of one and the homeschooling father of five. I am a singer, songwriter, and a worship leader who plays guitar and piano. I am the Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a small Christian Arts Academy in Eastern Tennessee. I'm also a guitar teacher and -- I spend about half my time building web sites and helping companies organize their thoughts, fine tune their products, and turn their customers into company evangelists. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun. I'm also training to be an Ultimate Fighter (that's not true). = )
James 2:12-13, 17
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment... Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Flow Theory
This is one of the coolest games I've played in a long time... engaging, fun, soothing... Very easy to get lost in and -- a good way to wind down your brain after a long week. Enjoy! = )

If you're interested... There's also a deeper psychology behind the development of this game called Flow Theory. The idea behind flow theory is to provide a participant, of any level, the opportunity to find exactly the right amount of challenge needed to engage. Providing too much challenge causes anxiety. Too little challenge creates boredom. Either results in our disengaging from the game, activity, work, or task that we are undertaking.
An activity (work or play) is fun is when we have created complex, but negotiable, challenges that allow the individual to engage or disengage, to work harder or work safer, to elect a path that fits their own abilities. The implications of applying this type of flow theory to your leadership or management style is pretty interesting.
Anyway... After your done flowing, check out some of the thought leaders on the subject: Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Bernie Dekoven, and Robin Hunicke.
