I am the husband of one and the father of nine. I was created to sing, to worship, to encourage, and to be steady. I am the Owner & Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a multi-disciplinary Arts Center in Eastern Tennessee, and the President of Trinity Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on funding arts education and performance. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun.

musicEverlasting God, the new CD from Brenton Brown is out and, I have to say, Brenton has assembled a really strong disc on par with the stuff Chris Tomlin and David Crowder are doing. Definitely give this one a listen!
I found out about Brenton from the guys over at WorshipTogether.com and I really can't say enough good stuff about what I've heard from his new disc. The best way to describe it, I think, is as a balance somewhere between Tomlin and Crowder. Like Tomlin, the majority of these songs are congregation friendly, with pretty catchy choruses and simple lyrics. Like Crowder, he includes a few moments of experimentation, although not enough to lose focus on the simplicity and singability of the songs as a whole. All together, this is just a great album of worship and -- he offers free chord charts to all of his stuff on his site.
