Who is this Jamin guy anyway?
I am the husband of one and the father of nine. I was created to sing, to worship, to encourage, and to be steady. I am the Owner & Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a multi-disciplinary Arts Center in Eastern Tennessee, and the President of Trinity Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on funding arts education and performance. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun.

2 Corinthians 5:17
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

This passage reminded me a bit of my testimony. Take a peek if you're interested and -- I'll see you on Monday. = )

Creation Northwest - July 26-29th
For those of you who have never attended a Christian Music Festival... Creation is a great place to have your first experience!

The cancellation of Creation Northeast (due to inclement weather) was a huge bummer for those of us on the East Coast but -- Creation Northwest is still going strong and has a really great lineup including Skillet, Bethany Dillon, Jeremy Camp, Relient K, Hillsong United, KJ 52, Disciple, Lincoln Brewster, Kutless, Audio Adrenaline, Starfield, Sanctus Real, Thousand Foot Krutch, Superchick, David Crowder, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, The Newsboys, and many more...

The event is held at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA. If you're in that part of the country... I'd highly recommend the trip. If you can't make this one, consider one of the other Christian Music Festivals around the country like Cornerstone, Atltanta Fest, and Sonshine.

By the way... One of my old bands (Hot Pink Turtle) had the pleasure of playing at all four of festivals and -- was even "banned" from the original Creation Festival back in 1993. I'm not sure if this is still the case but -- back in the day... They didn't look too kindly on performers stage diving into the crowd. Who knew? = )

Regardless... They're good people and put on top notch festivals every year. Support them (and the musicians that participate) if you can.

Donkey Kong!
In my youth, there were only a handful of games that I was really into... Galaga, Tempest, Atomic Runner, and Donkey Kong!

This is a great Flash simulation of the original Donkey Kong game. Definitely worth a peek, just to see if you can still make it to the pie factory. By the way... They have Pac Man, Asteroids, and Space Invaders too. = ) Happy Friday!
