I am the husband of one and the homeschooling father of five. I am a singer, songwriter, and a worship leader who plays guitar and piano. I am the Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a small Christian Arts Academy in Eastern Tennessee. I'm also a guitar teacher and -- I spend about half my time building web sites and helping companies organize their thoughts, fine tune their products, and turn their customers into company evangelists. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun. I'm also training to be an Ultimate Fighter (that's not true). = )
I was listening to Oh Praise Him tonight while preparing for church this weekend. I love the second verse of that song...
"Turn your gaze to Heaven and raise a joyous noise. Oh, the sound of salvation come. The sound of the rescued ones and all this for a king. The angels join to sing. All for Christ the King!"
I love the transition in that song from the first verse, which describes us joining in the angels song, to the second verse, which describes the angels joining in our song! = )
Anyway... That reminded me of this...
Revelation 5:11-14
Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.

I know I've said it before but... I can't wait!
Still Growing
The guys over at Eyezmaze are at it again with a new addition to the Grow family... Grow Nano. It's not as challenging as some of their other game but -- still fun and a good way to spend 5 minutes of your Friday afternoon.

Speaking of which... I'm taking the week off next week to get caught up on a few things before we ramp up for the Fall semester at Trinity Arts Center next month. I'll see you back here on the 31st. = )
