Who is this Jamin guy anyway?
I am the husband of one and the father of nine. I was created to sing, to worship, to encourage, and to be steady. I am the Owner & Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a multi-disciplinary Arts Center in Eastern Tennessee, and the President of Trinity Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on funding arts education and performance. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun.

In 2013, I added my Twitter feed to this site (below). To view the old content, just scroll down past the Twitter timeline. To keep in the loop on new posts, thoughts, and updates, just follow me on Twitter using the button below. Thanks!

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Proverbs 18:13
He who concelas his sins does not prosper but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 103:12
As far as the East is from the West, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

I know I already mentioned this but... LifeChurch.tv has a great series this month called "I Have A Secret" that addresses (at least in part) this topic. The most recent addition (about sexual sin) is a great message. Check it out here.

The topic of sexual sin reminds me of a Stand Like Stone song...

Song Title: One Regret - [ download mp3 ]
Genre: Christian Rock
File Size: 9MB

Notes: This song was (very loosely) based on 1 Cor 6:18. The song was a (somewhat) veiled way to express my frustration at having not "saved myself" for marriage. There are a lot of specific images here from my personal experience. It always seems like the more specific you are... the wider audience it relates to. Hmmm.

Lyrics: She came to me softly with whispers in her hair. No one would tell us how there was danger everywhere. I looked through the opening and I stepped up to the floor. I wonder what might have been if I'd had a word before. And the mouth's of they tell the lies of old. And just one regret leaves an eye shaped hole, and we can never love this way again. Three minutes later is a lonely walk toward home. Secret and obvious to the ones who watch me go. Torn out and tragedy'd getting ready for the ride. Kind of insanity to keep bringing it inside. And the other crimes stay outside the soul [body] but this one regret leaves an eye shaped hole. And we can never love this way again.

If you like that, you can hear the rest of the Stand Like Stone album here.

Connect The Dots (kind of)
This is cool little game that is very simple to play but -- very hard to describe in a few words.

I've only played a couple levels but -- this might be just the thing to relax your brain a bit on a Friday afternoon. There are several levels of puzzle to complete as well so -- there should be something for every FLOW level.
