Who is this Jamin guy anyway?
I am the husband of one and the father of nine. I was created to sing, to worship, to encourage, and to be steady. I am the Owner & Executive Director of Trinity Arts Center, a multi-disciplinary Arts Center in Eastern Tennessee, and the President of Trinity Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on funding arts education and performance. I've been involved with four music projects in my life -- Hot Pink Turtle, Spin Radio, Stand Like Stone, and of course, Jamin Rathbun.

In 2013, I added my Twitter feed to this site (below). To view the old content, just scroll down past the Twitter timeline. To keep in the loop on new posts, thoughts, and updates, just follow me on Twitter using the button below. Thanks!

It's my Dad's birthday today so Happy Birthday Dad!

In honor of his birthday, I'll share the passage he shared the last time my folks were in town.

Ecclesiastes 3:11-12
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.

He also added some insight to my post about Hell a few months back. Thanks for everything Dad... You rock! = )

See The Morning
Chris Tomlin has a new CD coming out on September 26th!

Tomlin is one of my favorite artists and I'm really looking forward to this new disc. If you aren't familiar with Chris, check him out immediately. He's the man! = )

Changing the Methods Always Changes the Message?
The guys (and girls) over at Out Of Ur (Christianity Today) published an article a while back that's relevent to this whole emergent movement thing that seems to be the buzz of late. As with a lot of these blog posts, much of the insight is included in the comments.
